I come from a long line of hard workers - people who worked hard for other people and usually didn't get the credit or the rewards their hard work merited.

Lifeguarding at the YMCA has taught me a lot that I will take in to the rest of my life. Having to deal with little babies to the elderly that take arthiritis classes. I learn the whole spectrum of life and it really has taught me a lot about myself.

Lifeguarding

I lifeguard for the YMCA in Edwardsville. I have been there for three years now and it gets me the money I need to get by. I also teach swim lessons in my spare time.

Swim Lessons

I have taught swim lessons for about 3 years to 3-year-olds all the way up to kid that are about to go into high school. I teach usually twice a week and then I lifeguard for the rest of my shift.

 

Volunteer Work

I have volunteered for the St.Louis FanFest in 2009 and I am a member of PRSSA at SIUe. I also play SIUe club soccer for the women's team.
